PB3 – Peer Reviews

In today’s workshop, we viewed the project brief 3 from our class and we were asked to give the reviews. Therefore, below is my feedback for our table.

Even: She did use two types of interviewing – video and voice over and she provided questions to make the viewers have a better sense of the interview. The only suggestion for her is to create more footages for the portrait as the video was a bit boring of only watching the interviewing. I would recommend her to shoot the scene of what the interviewee doing in school to make it more fun.

Vicki: She got a great found footage to set off the interviewee’s words and she provided sub-title for the audiences. However, I think next time, she can try to produce an English version of the portrait. Also, I would recommend her to find more found footage for her video which can make the portrait be more interesting.

Gloria: Her creative idea of interviewing on the train was really interesting and the way she combined the video and still image was smooth. However, her music was met the point of copyright policy as the music was produced by a singer. And also, she should put the credit for founding footage at the end of the video.

Hazel: I really love the video that she made. The way she combined the scenes, the balance between found footage and her shots, and the angle of shooting make this portrait be really amusing. I think the video was perfect but if I must give a suggestion, I would recommend her to give a better title of the portrait as it may make the viewer confused about her theme.
