Fast and Furious 7 last scene! (SPOILER)

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!

I really want to write this! I need to let this out of my chest!

Before the first five minutes of the movie, everyone in the cinema is making noise. After the last five minutes of the movie, everyone just shuts up. One quote, a few shots, and one music got everyone in the cinema emotional.

So after their final battle, the crew went to Malibu beach and have a good time to relax. In that scene, we see shots of Mia playing with Jack down by the water. She then calls Brian to join and he did. The crew watches as the family have their time and begins to talk about him, looking on but as if to suggest that he’s not really there.

“Beautiful,” says Roman

“That’s where he belongs,” says Letty.

“Home. That’s where he’s always belonged,” says Dom

“Things are gonna change,” says Roman.

Dom stands up and leaves. Ramsey asks him, “You aren’t even going to say goodbye?”

“It’s never goodbye,” Dom says, as Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” begins to play.

Dom drives off and as soon as he reaches a T-junction, Brian catches up and says to Dom, “Hey, you thought you could leave without saying goodbye?” In this shot, the filmmakers have Paul Walker’s brother to act accompanying with some CGI effect to make him look exactly like Paul. Hey, it works. Dom smiles and they both begin to drive side by side through the Malibu canyon and Dom begins speaking in voice-over; “I used to say I live a quarter mile at that time. And that’s why we were brothers. Because you did, too.”

A montage of moments from previous films begins, again with Dom’s voice: “No matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter mile away or halfway around the world, you’ll always be my brother.”

Finally, an overhead shot of the two cars, driving together and they come upon a gentle fork in the road, Walker’s white exotic drifts to the left and Diesel’s silver Dodge staying on the main route. I guess I don’t have to explain this because the metaphor shot is very clear about the parting. I guess this overhead shot got everyone else emotional. The camera pans up to the sun, and the scene goes blindingly white, with two words flashing onscreen:

“FOR PAUL”

This amazing work of James Wan has really got everyone emotional. He even concluded the movie as how it started. Take a look at these shots from the previous Fast and Furious and the latest one: Screen Shot 2015-04-09 at 8.19.04 pm Screen Shot 2015-04-09 at 8.19.09 pm
