This intensive is designed to enhance the Spanish language and cultural awareness skills of RMIT students and foster scholarly collaboration between RMIT Melbourne, and RMIT Europe and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona. This intensive offers the flexibility to complete one or two RMIT International Studies elective courses and the option to undertake an intensive Spanish language course at Don Quijote Spanish School. The minimum study load required is 12 credit points and the maximum achievable is 36 credit points. The maximum duration is 5 weeks, including a pre-departure in Melbourne.
Students will attend lectures and workshops facilitated by special guest lecturers invited through UPF academic networks. RMIT students will study alongside UPF Global Studies undergraduates in some classes and participate in UPF student social events. In addition, students will participate in cultural visits across the city of Barcelona.
