‘Well..what do Iiiiiii know of life’, he muttered

This is my current view. Only a minute ago, a neighbor (whom I will never meet) going up the flight of stairs. I saw him peeping into my room. To give context. I live in the bottom floor and has a garden with a glass door exhibiting my room. But I don’t blame the guy, I have blue mood lighting. Whilst the outside is purple and pink cotton candy when you chew them.

Anyway, since he started being all up in my business and staring down at me as his legs work left-right. I just sat in my chair and watched him reach the top. And what i saw was beautiful.

It felt like a rocky moment when he reaches the top of the stairs. This guy was wearing a jumper too, mind you. But what I saw and heard was different. I think i had Joe Satriani, guitarè extrodinairè. He’s American.

But it changed the mood! In class a few hours ago. A classmate mentioned something alone the lines of; music should have a different effect on the scene, not just re-tell the audience the same thing.

So instead of seeing someone reaching the last obstacle of the day. Stairs. After a hard days work, would ya? Just after he reaches the house door he can get to bed straightaway. But he paused for a while.

Then the music kicked in. It felt like he was up to something. Maybe he hates his housemate. Or he forgot to flush the toilet and only realized then. Or maybe, he’d forgotten his bag from uni. Who knows.

When he was on the second level, there was yellow/tungsten lighting and i saw some facial features. But i only saw a shadow shaped like a man when he was at the top.

So having different lighting for each level. Evolving, almost. To the thing it becomes when it reaches the top. If we build a story around that, theres a couple of possibilities. Maybe thats his rise to success but fall of himself? Could it represent the light being his stress for the day. His mind poisoned with grief and misery from a days work. And when he reaches home, he can switch off the light and rest.

Close ups are a must when we slowly see character ‘a’ the last few steps and on the yellow lighting. Long-shot from low angle for the rest. Back to back.
