Within my project I would also like to explore shot composition/colouring. I think I would like to create a short scene where I can focus on shot composition and using particular colours.
I am inspired by films like God Help the Girl and the short film IRL by Grant Singer.
God Help the Girl by Stuart Murdoch uses mainly cool tones throughout its film but contracts with darker and lights toners throughout as well as maintaing interesting shot composition. Taking inspiration from the short film IRL by Grant Singer, I would like to try re-enact the film in the night club where there are coloured lights everywhere. I’m hoping with bit of experimentation with a torch, cellophane and some old strobe lights I can experiment with lighting and colour.
