Okay, so technically we’ve been working on it for a little bit. But today – Hazel, Asha and myself met up and recorded our audio essay. This came after collaboration over the past few days organizing topics to cover and basic scripting ideas.

I think the recording went really well – especially thanks to Asha’s realisation that we may need to record our dialogue separately in order to get the best sound quality – rather than having one member hold the mic, resulting in varying levels of sound given our different speaking volumes.

It felt really good to finish up and – when discussing editing – note that we have quite a large amount of time to prepare a final copy of this audio essay. Personally I have never been one to be very “on top” of my assessments, and so to be this way feels like a very welcome change.
