Nightmare on Film Street
So commences my second (horribly procrastinated) project for Media 1. Congratulations to Amber Ryder for being so passionate about film that she spends 24hrs a day watching them and 0hrs making them.
I’ve always been like this. Even my short film I made for yr12 media: which got a fantastic score, and is still one of the things I am most proud of to this, took so, so long to start making. I don’t know why I always put off starting, because I know once I get going on my creative tangent I usually find it quite hard to stop. I wouldn’t call myself a lazy person, I love going to the gym, cleaning and going out. But I would say I have a fear of not doing thingsĀ right. I’m no perfectionist when it comes to film, and I’m 100% sure “I winged it” is my most used term when people ask me “How did you do that?”. But if something doesn’t turn out right for me I’d just rather not hand anything in at all. Sounds dramatic. I know.
Oh well, hopefully it’ll all work out, and not become a giant nightmare over the weekend.
