Visiting NGV is always my favourite thing to do when I was in trinity doing my foundation studies. I only went there for HOI‘s material, for some of my friends listening to a lady talking for two hours and looking at the renaissance’s paintings was boring. But somehow I found it interesting, the painting and the story behind it. Since then (and actually before then) I started to visit NGV reguralry and recently (not really recent, but we can say that) they held a photography exhibition.
So in easter holiday, I succeed doing something productive by visiting the exhibition. It was so lovely and there were several collections that caught my eyes. One of them was from an Indonesian photographer, Edwin Roseno, I’ve never heard his name before but when I saw his collection at NGV I felt proud somehow (lol) it was beautiful and the materials he used reminds me of home. Besides him, I was amazed at Danny Singer‘s collection, it was so beautiful and amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of his collection.
