In this practice project I wanted to show how things are bought and used everyday without much consideration of it, more specifically as I mentioned in the ‘development’ post, about coffee and its various effects.

In the video made by me for this assignment I simply show how coffee is bought and consumed usually with a friend or a co-worker before starting to work or going to class. Here I used multiple kinds of media, as requested for the assignment. I used both video and separately recorded audio as well as some text. Obviously, this project is not finalised as of right now and lacks the meanings I intended to reflect in it, I used just some of the ideas I have in mind and I am struggling a bit to make them in something concrete.

The things that might work well in the final project are some shots I used, for instance the shot where I pick up the coffee and go to the table, as well as the part where I am engaged in a nonaudible conversation with the person in front of me.

I feel like I did not gather enough shots and material in general as I wanted to, so I found it difficult to realized what I had planned. Therefore, for the next project I intend to storyboard and to write a little script to plan the production, plus I am definitely going to shoot more and more videos to use in this project, so I can have a multitude of media pieces I can work with.
