This is a really crazy/interesting story about a man who travels to an alternate dimension and discovers that in this alternate reality, The Beatles never broke up – instead staying together to release many more albums.
The thing that makes this story special however, is that the owner of this website claims that this is a TRUE story, and that he actually did travel to an alternate dimension after falling unconscious in the desert. His evidence? He brought back a ‘new’ Beatles album from the alternate dimension (titled ‘Everyday Chemistry’) – and you can listen to the whole thing on his website.
It really is a fantastical story, and there’s a small part of me that wishes it was true. However, I think it’s far more likely that he put this story together as a way to publicise his remixes of the music The Beatles members made after the band broke up. Or perhaps he was experimenting with a dual-media narrative, trying to add greater depth and meaning to a personal music project.
The tracks on the album are actually pretty impressive though, so I’d definitely recommend giving ‘Everyday Chemistry’ a listen.
