As a member of the documentary team for the ‘And Scene” festival, photographs and videos were taken leading up to the event. These artifacts were used for various departments of the festival, for example, promotion, merchandise, documentary, etc.
The ‘And Scene’ Merchandise has taken advantage of the photographs that were taken during our visit to the Capitol. The graphics printed on our shirts and tote bags were a collage of two photographs that document our experience in learning the operation within the venue, it embodies a spirit of teamwork that our crew cherishes. With the help of its slick and modern design, it is selling out after the success of the festival.
The same photographs have also been utilized for the promotion of our event, it has been used on our Instagram posts, the venue’s backdrop display, and posters. The pictures have provided a uniform promotional direction for the event, featuring a rich contrast, and black and white editing style. It promotes professionalism and simplicity across all of our materials, which further helps us to convey our core message; wanting more people to join in on support media student work.
Videography has been an essential part of the documentation of the festival as well. All footage filmed during the event’s progression has been put into use for the ‘Behind And Scene Festival’ footage. These valuable moments captured serve as an inspiration for future studios, I hope our vision can be passed down by other media practitioners.
