As a social media team member for the And Scene Festival, my contribution to the final 2024 Media Studios Festival Experience studio includes behind-the-scenes editing, captioning, audio and filming.
Using CapCut for editing, TikTok sounds for adding a modern auditory flair, and a variety of images and memes, I created content that resonated with a broad audience. The editing process was a blend of technical skill and creative intuition, ensuring each post was informative, entertaining, and reflective of the festival’s dynamic atmosphere.
One of my key contributions was the direction of filming angles to include significant backgrounds that encapsulated the festival’s ambience. By providing audio microphones, I ensured clear and crisp sound quality, which is crucial for engaging video content. Directing filming angles was a deliberate choice to highlight the festival’s unique settings, making each shot not just a visual but also an emotional experience for viewers.
Each piece of content was crafted to bring the festival to life on screen. Whether it was a behind-the-scenes look, a snippet of a live performance, or a humorous meme that captured a moment of spontaneity, each post added a layer to the festival’s story.
