Narrative – Utopia:
This short film is about a college student is facing ‘final’ and has many work to do every day, so she is also feeling irritated. One day, she looked out of the window and thought that she needed to go out to have a look and relax instead of staying at home and doing her homework every day. She went to the park, the beach and looked at the people coming and going, she picked up her ukulele and played it. She felt very relaxed and free as she watched the beautiful sunset. Then, she suddenly heard the sound of the alarm clock, which was getting louder and louder. Suddenly, she woke up and realised she was still at her desk, even in the same position. She realised that what had just happened was all a dream.
Documentary – Intrepid:
This documentary follows a couple who travel from their hometown to an unfamiliar city to start a business from scratch. They opened a restaurant together, yet studied medicine in college. The documentary talks about their views on interprofessional and their words for university students and those who are confused and anxious about it. I hope this film will encourage and inspire everyone to live hard and be brave enough to do what they want to do!
Commercial – Presh? Fresh!:
This commercial edit series introduces a product, apple juice, in a dynamic, energetic way. It engages the viewer through bright colours, a dynamic soundtrack and interesting video transitions. I hope it makes viewers feel this is an extraordinary and creative advert.
through this assignment, I have become more proficient in the use of PR. Previously, when editing videos, I wasn’t confident using PR, and I even sometimes needed to search for online tutorials. But now, I can’t say I’m a ‘master’ at it, but I can edit a piece independently without any outside help. Practice makes perfect, and through the various assignments, I became more proficient in using PR than before, such as setting keyframes, creating different effects, text movement, etc.
