Narrative-A magic skill

The story is about a girl who has magical skills. She wants to make up for the mistakes she made through her skills. But what she doesn’t realise is that every time it causes a butterfly effect. Eventually it also causes irreversible consequences.

Commercial-Hat ‘Matin Kim’

The main character of the video is an energetic dancer wearing a hat. The brand name is Matin Kim and the main purpose is to promote the hat. The target audience is young people who love dancing.

Documentary-A Florist

The documentary features florist Ethen, who shares his heartfelt virtues as a florist and what makes this profession special. The video is able to convey a warm feeling.

Before meeting this studio, I didn’t have a clear idea of how to edit a video, thinking that no matter what kind of video I edited, I only needed to follow a few basic steps. However, after this semester’s study, I have learnt that editing videos actually needs to be filmed and guided with the idea of editing. Different videos have different editing techniques to express different styles. In this studio, I enjoy the group discussion sessions in every class. You can watch some great editing videos and discuss everyone’s different editing ideas. Everyone will have different feelings when they watch the videos, so the discussion can draw more knowledge and inspiration. I think this course has successfully met my expectations and it has furthered my ‘editing’.
