The Last Stop

“Gale and Sam couldn’t be more different, yet like Summer and Winter- one is not whole without the other. Sam’s sunny smile can light up any room, brightening even the gloomy Gale’s cold gaze. But something’s changed between them as Sam recounts her dream job interview to Gale. Words bubble over at Southern Cross Station as feelings are laid bare across the tracks.”

“How could I have known that was the last time I’d say ‘goodbye’ to you? We better go, this is the Last Stop.”

From a 3-page script to a full production, It’s been an arduous task to sit in the directors chair.

With this work I wanted to challenge myself to see how far I could take a piece with a serious tone and at a higher scale of production. Working with my actors and crew has been a delightful experience I will not soon forget, special thanks to my superstar team who were patient with my hiccups and helping me make my conceptual vision into a reality.

Creating The Last Stop has changed my understanding of directing and opened my eyes to many new creative possibilities I hope to explore in future works.

Grab your florals, grab your popcorn, and please enjoy.
The train will depart soon.
