Dreamer (directed by Andrei Barazon) is an absurd coming-of-age story where burnt-out ‘Icarus’ is forced to make an ultimatum. Believing they are truly destined for greatness, they let their ambition and passion guide them, however deep down they are aware of the consequences that following their dreams will inevitably lead them. 

When it came to the filming and editing of this project, I was under some extreme time constraints. However, I persevered and was able to submit this on time. Filming was concentrated into a single day, while editing ran for around 2-3 days, all of which was enjoyable. I believe this project to be my strongest in terms of technical prowess alongside being one of the first projects in which I have solely directed with the proper education. and I’m proud of the progress I’ve been able to document since starting this course. I’ve learnt and implemented a lot of new techniques and experimented with confidence on aspects of directing and editing that I’ve never reached before.
