DOCUMENTARY
This documentary is dedicated to my brother, who has always been a source of inspiration for his hard work and unwavering discipline in every aspect of his life. I have always admired and looked up to him. However, as siblings, we also enjoy teasing each other, so I decided to create a documentary titled “The Boredom of Routine” to playfully highlight his less exciting side. The documentary focuses on capturing the mundane aspects of day-to-day life, showcasing how he gets caught up in the hustle culture and becomes trapped in a monotonous routine. Despite my brother being shy in front of the camera and being an introvert, I managed to record some moments that illustrate this theme. While filming, I had the opportunity to visit his campus and witness his deep concentration and dedication to his studies, which was impressive. Although there were some technical challenges, such as camera angles and the lack of his voiceover, I still hope the documentary captures the essence of routine boredom.
COMMERCIAL
The commercial video focuses on promoting the Voltar brand and their latest innovation. The trailer car introduces a new and advanced mild hybrid engine, showcasing its cutting-edge design and the use of eco-friendly materials to reduce emissions. The commercial video I created was intentionally short, focusing on visual storytelling to convey the message effectively. However, I feel that there is room for improvement and further development. I wanted to delve deeper into the concept and explore additional ideas to enhance the storytelling experience.
NARRATIVE
The narrative video centers around an individual grappling with depression and the overwhelming pressure of impending assignments. Despite the weight of their responsibilities, they find themselves unable to accomplish anything. However, as time passes, a friend extends a helping hand, aiming to uplift them from their state of stagnation. The primary goal of the video is to emphasize the significance of seeking assistance and finding support during challenging times though I still try to keep it lighthearted. I’ve still had problems with pretty much everything, including this process. I make an effort to study as much as I can, but as a beginning, it’s still challenging for me to stay up with technological and creative advancements. However, it was a great learning experience for me.
