I think that this studio has given me a new outlook on the world of editing, and how the smallest decisions an editor makes, will make massive differences to the audience. Throughout the course, and all the activities we have done as a group, I think I am better equipped with the skills and knowledge for me to be able to appreciate good editing, and also notice when something is done perhaps poorly. It is true what they say, that these types of classes ruin watching movies, as you will now be hyper-aware of small things, however when you know what makes a film or a show ‘good’, you are then able to really appreciate them, as you now have an insight into the long process and thinking that leads up to that.
