Synopsis

Lexie kept a secret from her family for seven years – she had once been in love with a girl. In a conservative social environment, the transition from identity to identity is an incredibly difficult process, and Lexie experienced deep confusion and pain throughout her journey. Instead of seeing the light of hope in her life, Lexie was plunged into another dilemma: how to face the huge prejudice of the mainstream in a conservative social environment, as a woman and as a sexual minority, and how to have a sexual identity while maintaining her sexual orientation. How to have a happier and more fulfilling life without being disturbed by others while maintaining her sexuality. “Hush, don’t talk too much–Chinese lesbian” shows the experiences of Chinese lesbians as they overcome their past and heal themselves in Australia. “Hush, don’t talk too much–Chinese lesbian”, highlights the experiences of these courageous individuals as they overcome their past Through their stories, the film stresses the importance of recognizing that society should not be prejudiced against sexual minorities and should be proactive in shaping a more tolerant and free life. As sexual minorities, they should live their lives positively, maintain their attitudes, not be crushed by social prejudices, and find their own lives.
