Peter Nottsworth (How I Learnt to Live with Myself)
Peter Nottsworth is going nowhere with his life, relying on clinical trials to earn a bit of fast cash, constantly burning his toast, and repeatedly messaging uninterested girls. Until one day, rejected from a trial, he wanders into a classified sector and consumes an untested pill, and from this point on his life is forever changed, or at least just temporarily… The pills conjure a clone of himself that guides him when he most needs it, he helps Peter to make the most beneficial decisions, and his life finally starts to get better (well it can’t get any worse).
The process of creating this film was truly eye-opening for us as a group. It was a journey of learning and collaboration, where we constantly bounced ideas off each other throughout the production. We faced some technical issues along the way, but we adapted by brainstorming alternative solutions to reach our goals. Despite the challenges, we managed to bring the final production together successfully. When it came to the concept of technology in the film, we decided to take a different approach. Instead of portraying it as cold and artificial, we humanized the clone, showcasing the positive potential of this technology rather than the usual negative portrayal found in media discussions. Overall, working on this project in our studio not only honed our filmmaking skills but also equipped us with valuable experiences that will undoubtedly benefit us in future projects.
