A Film by Mira Downie
For Graham and Tracy, a photograph can transport you back to the beginning. In this day and age, it is our instinct to collect as many memories as possible so that we never run out. It is almost impossible for today’s teenagers to imagine having to live a minimally documented life, but growing up in the 1960s/70s, Graham and Tracy did not have access to the convenience of digital cameras. COLLECTING MEMORIES is a 4 – minute documentary that explores the experience of growing up in a pre – digital world, and how photographs affect the lifespan of childhood memories.
