Mid- Autumn Festival by Shangwen Chen

This video was inspired by my first experience of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival abroad as an international student coming from China to study abroad. This video is rich in traditional Chinese culture, such as eating mooncakes, the ancient poem in the last shot, enjoying the moon, and eating dumplings (although eating dumplings is a custom for people in northern China). Although I wrote the script, shot the video, and did the post-editing all by myself, it was thanks to my cousin’s participation that the video was made cozier. I have gained a lot through this video, and my shooting and editing skills have been improved. Because the Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival used to reunite with family members or to think of relatives, what I want to express in this video is that I hope viewers will be inspired by it, miss their family members, and love the festival of their nation or country. Lastly, I would like to show one of my favorite shots in the video, which is this picture of the moon, because the Mid-Autumn Festival is about enjoying the moon, so I would like to use this video and this picture to let the viewers enjoy this full moon surrounded by clouds. Thanks again to all the people who worked on this video.
