‘Now you’re on your own, kid.” There will come a time you finally set out your own wings to the world. A short film about an individual – one that is still trying to figure out their part in the world, observing and comparing other people’s meals, how they eat it, what they eat, to hers. 

My film was named on my own, and it turned out for most parts I also had to work solely on my own to create it. It gives me a new belief in myself, as before and also in this class as we often went out and did the exercises in groups. I think producing a video piece is the work of a team as there are a lot of roles that need to be taken care of while filming. Doing this final project has given a new light into my thinking and proven that it’s not impossible to produce a piece by oneself.

The outcome is not my best work, but still, I did learn a lot throughout the progress.
