Intimate Loneliness
During the production of this film, I mainly used equipment, plot and shooting scenes to minimize the cost of shooting. It was a valuable learning and creative experience. In the process, I learned many important lessons and techniques about micro-budget filmmaking.
I don’t think I did it perfectly in the first script. I designed relatively boring scripts and movies. So in the first few weeks of shooting, there were a lot of questions. The process of the film is idealized.
In the first version, mine was poorly used music, the wrong music was chosen, and the plot was not easy to understand, so I re-added some of my things. For the processing of editing, we need to study and master the skills more deeply to improve the overall quality of the video. If you give me a little more time, I will make my video more detailed, so that my content can be fully expressed. It is also very important to make a very interesting script. I didn’t do a good script this time, because it is difficult to highlight the story of my script. Please see it is very bad. If I am shooting next time, I will write the script better. Very interesting.
I think the studio’s biggest challenge is the conflict between a small budget and great work. This is certainly counterintuitive. Most people know that more exciting scripts and more shocking pictures require higher financial and human support. Well, in order to make better movies with a small budget, filmmakers need more accumulation of knowledge and comprehensive ability. It also makes it easier for me to save the budget and shoot what I need in my future career. This is the most important point in my opinion, because the videos produced within a budget do It’s very good, it’s my expectation! So I will work harder to review how to make and shoot the video, and next time I will use better equipment to shoot to make the video clearer.
When shooting, I used iphone 14 pro and DJI msom4 mobile phone gimble to shoot, using the method of horizontal shooting and vertical shooting, and I also used portrait and low light. This decision allowed me to use color and lighting to help visualize the emotion and storyline, bringing each scene to life and ultimately fitting with the film’s main theme. On a tight budget, careful planning and organization become even more important. I learned to plan the shoot ahead of time so that all the scenes would flow smoothly. Reasonable allocation of time and resources, effective communication and coordination with team members are very important to ensure the progress and quality of the shooting. One of the themes of small-budget films is resource constraints. However, I learned how to make the most of what I had, including sets, props, and actors. I realized that with creativity and flexibility, my surroundings and friends could offer many potential creative opportunities. Shooting a micro-budget film is a challenging yet interesting task. Through this experience, I learned how to plan and innovate effectively with limited resources.
