An inside look at a young man from Tasmania as he tries to make it in the bizarre and quirky world of Australian professional wrestling. Kobe Reid is like most ordinary Australians: except for one thing. For his work he goes by a different name – Kid Valiant. From the age of 16, Kobe spent all his time and energy becoming a full time wrestler. When Kobe isn’t working at his local trampoline park, he can be found wrestling at local venues such as pubs, town halls and lawn bowl clubs, all in hopes to becoming a Wrestler in the international stage. The Professional Pretender is a quick 5 minute inside look of the local Wrestling scene in Melbourne as it takes you inside one of the various wrestling events held at Strathmore Bowls club.
