Life Of The Funeral

Twenty-seven-year-old Erin spends most of their time hanging around with dead people. Having worked at a funeral home for the past few years as an embalmer and mortician, they’ve become pretty intimate with the idea that we all eventually shuffle off the mortal coil. How does becoming desensitized to the concept of life and mortality affect Erin’s day-to-day life, and how do they deal with the pressure? ‘Life Of The Funeral’ is a 5 min documentary depicting the emotional state of a mortician in their twenties, navigating life whilst constantly reminded of its brevity.
