This video takes you on an aesthetic journey that tells you the psychology behind what colours mean in terms of emotion. Red can mean love…yet also exhibit hatred. Green can be nature and life…but be corrupted by evil and envy. A Palette Full of Emotion is a short-form educational video that explores the affordances of colour and its influence on audience emotions.

With a larger group, the idea of colour and film evolved and grew as we continued to work on it. Instead of solely focusing on colour in films, we went in depth into the theory and psychology behind the colour and what emotion was evoked. Through strings of communication, we are proud to present our final production.
