This is a two minutes short video that presents a girl’s consciousness about authenticity and mendacity. As I didn’t have the proper equipment to shoot a low frame rate video, I used an application named FilMIC Pro. This is a very strong application that its minimum frame rate could be 3fps. In this video, I used 12fps and changed the shutter speed to 1/12sec.

About the consciousness

Authenticity alternates and overlaps with dreams
It’s hard to distinguish them
just like it’s hard to distinguish between lies and truth
under this humanity controlled world which is filled with mendacity and fraud
without any judgment criteria
what is authenticity, it’s hard to say
whereupon we take spurious as real with self-deception
even we start to deceive ourselves
how to trace the authenticity
just like the misty boundary of illusion and reality
with desperate trust
could it say that it must be paid by disappointment and harm eventually?
What they call reality is no more than a dream
just like the trust will ultimately be annihilated by reality
perhaps, death would be the only way to reap the authenticity
