One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

Directed by Daniel Harsanto

Starring Viorel Ivanhoe and Nicholas Andersen

With the intention to meet her mother that left her at the age of 6, Eloise Blossom meets Oliver Liu who turns out to be the adopted child of Eloise’s real mother at the cafe. From the start, Oliver already notice that Eloise wants to take her mother back. Because of her strong will, Oliver finally got a time to meet up with her but still, it seems like Oliver wants to cover up her mother’s location.

I cannot lie that this performance was packed with words of conversation and explanation. There’s no such a big movements and action but more likely to rely on gestures, words, and expression. With Vio and Nick as both of my actors makes me feel like this project could be more easier as they had an experience in the field of acting and modeling. I could feel like the direction, discussion, and our process makes the acting seems natural and genuine.
