I use photography to provide people images that cannot be seen by human eyes.

I am very interested in abstract photography, especially using light, shadow and long exposure to create different visual effects to improve the overall look of my photos and add in more abstraction at the same time. I have been exploring different ways to capture light trails in long exposure photos since I was in year 12. The process from having an idea to experimenting to finally achieving the goal is very fun and comes with a great sense of accomplishment.

I have been doing photography for seven years but most of the time I was learning it all by myself. It is fun to explore all the settings and methods by myself but I also lacked a little professionalism. I have never done a studio photo-shoot or try out different genres that I am not familiar with. The past 12 weeks in the studio has provided me the opportunity to experience those things. It has helped me to learn more professional skills on lighting, shooting and communicating with the person I am shooting. Those things I learned in the studio will be helpful for me in the future.
