Reflection #3 — Plan & preparation for individually interview exercise

PLANNING FOR INTERVIEW SHOOTING:

As this is an informal interview, it doesn’t need to start with a full set place with a set of specific questions prepared for the interviewee. Few of my friends from the studio has decided to do the shooting together in case anyone needs a hand. My interview’s occupation is student, so I think I would better to shoot inside the campus, to be more realistic.

When I chat with Rebecca about the ideas we want to include in the interview, we have introduced ourselves first as the more information you have them more ideas you might gain for the interview content. I was looking for common points between us during we chatted with each other.

INTERVIEW NOTES:

  • Exchange students to Korea
  • Her outfit (hair colours; make up; fashion style) made lots of Korean thought she is Korean — I love Korean culture and love to exchange as well!
  • Wear make up everyday — I was learning to find a make up look at fit me
  • Love blue-grey hair colours — I love to dye my hair as well
  • Work at hype, save money to dye her hair

Through chatting with my interviewee, I found she is working at hype which she feels very satisfied because she always receives staff discount. Rebecca’s make up and hair colour were the first two things that attracted my attention, and these are our common habit we shared with each other.
