<Pre-production>

  • Ed Sheeran – Photograph  <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSDgHBxUbVQ>
  • Sean Wang – 3000 miles <https://vimeo.com/235664764>
  • Primarily, the idea is inspired by the photograph by Ed Sheeran and the 3000 miles by Sean Wang. Both of them make a collection of memories. I always want to do a short film about memories. Besides, it is fit the theme, joy. Thus, I just edited the videos I filmed before rather than go to film more videos.

<Post-production>

  • For this one, I prefer to make the editing simple and make it look like a home video. To be honest, the final effect doesn’t look well. It is hard to find the connection between these clips. I used to want to use the time to link these clips. However, I cannot tell the change of time from the video as an audience. For filmmaking, I don’t need to pursue the authenticity of the videos. Thus, I am going to film more videos to fill up the blank of the past for the next time. In addition, I may also use the transition I learn from the 3000 miles and the presentation.

<Free copyright music>

Because of the requirement of free copyright music, I deleted the original music and find some free copyright music online to re-edit these films. I also learn that there are two ways to use free copyright music. Basically, the author would upload the music with a note claimed it can be used in others multi-media works. In the first case, people who are going to use the music need to add the information of the author in the credit. Otherwise, they need to buy the license for the music. Thus, I added credit pages to every video.
