The assignment three is different from the one we did before. It asks us to create a script for ourselves instead of just providing one. Thus, It is significant for us to come up with something interesting and easy to control. We actually watched the final production of the previous studio. There is some great idea we may learn and some failure we should avoid. For example, one of the talk show sets few punchlines but some of them are failed. To avoid this embarrassing situation, the floor manager may lead the audience to make some laugh and noise. It will be better even they only performed in this way. It remains me of the reading, Live is always with high risk and spontaneity may make the situation worse. For producing a Live show, we are supposed to make the real illusion to the audience. However, we need to make sure we got the high-control of the Live show for the professional standard. (Lundell 2009, p. 272)

After we get in the group, we start to choose the role we want. Because of the language problem, I can not choose roles like the director, floor manager and DA. Thus, I prefer to doing the role with skills, such as audio and camera. I choose the camera for this time because I want to learn the difference between multi-camera and the single camera. After the division of labor, I ask the skills from the people who operate camera last time. They told me that there are not many things to do with the real shoot.

It is fast for us to fit in the role we preferred. Thus, we can pay more attention to the topic and scrip for this Live Talk/Panel show. The News requires high skills of the host. Besides, one or two talent need to carry the whole show. It is hard for them when we do not confirm the talent and we only have limited time to rehearsal. Sports events may look boring and fake because we do not really have a match. As a result, we choose to do a trivia program. It is easier to script it and control it. The form is about the competition between two teams by answering some questions. Moreover, we will add some comic elements to make it more interesting. For the questions, we would like to mix various type of questions together but avoid the hard question. Otherwise, there will be the embarrassing time for silence.
