Thought on the studio tour

This week, the studio tour has impressed me a lot. On the one hand, it shows how cool to do live. We got different size and functions studio. The first mind come to me is will we use them for this semester? I think we can create a good live show by using these studios. On the other hand, it not easy to operate a live show. The process of producing a live show is required high cooperation. Everybody participating in the process needs to stand by and pay attention all the simultaneously. People in the background will give the order and operators are supposed to capturing the instruction immediately and achieve it perfectly, just like the video we watched in class. Inter-phone connects everyone together. They are sharing the same pressure while they are doing live. After that, they share the same achievability. 

Thought of translating from single to multi-cam

Last semester I was in Box studio. We shoot film by using one camera. Thus, we need to film from different angles for couple times to finish a scene. It is more like a personal way to create a visual world. I can control the way I want to film and express by changing angles and shots. Differently, I found that multi-camera was several cameras filming simultaneously. Thus, it can save lots of time of change angles. It more emphasizes the coordination of the whole group instead of personal creativity. Besides, the script is also different. I only found two different. First of all, it separates the dialogue from the script. Secondly, it notes the direction, movement, characters’ names and sounds. The reason may is it asked to work them out together.

Reporting on group planing

There are different roles in the group. Because the limitation of English, I can only choose one from Vision Switcher, Audio, and Camera. The only thing in my mind at that moment is that I need to improve English more. For this time, I prefer to do audio in the background. I think it can watch the process of producing a Live at an overall view. As a result, I can have a rough understanding of it.
