Ready Camera One : Reflection

As the people who provided a Live, we can decide what to show audience and what not. In other words, we have the complete initiative about the content. The audience only has the right to accept or not instead of controlling the content. By this process, both culture and attitude of this Live and commentators will be exported to the audience.

At first, we did not plan anything. We were doing Live while walking. Thus, the content of the Live was so boring. There was no focusing point of the Live. After that, we decided to film the football match. There was a football go straight to us. It is actually a good scene for Live. However, we did not film that in because it is unplanned. It just happened accidentally. Thus, this was a Live, which is completely out of control. It is hard to do Live without a plan.

Later, we thought out a subject about what we want to film and what opinion we want to export. It makes the Live more easy and controllable. Because we want to show the phenomenon of crossing the road and how dangerous it is, we focus on the road and the special group of people. The only thing we need to do is waiting a good time.  Finally, we got the most significant scene of our Live. Thus, we can get a good Live at a good place and at a good time. Besides, the more we planned, the more control we can have.

Compare with TV shows, the outcomes of Live is different. On the one hand, it has a stronger sense of substitution for the audience. The audience watches and feels at the same time as the event happen. They may have the same expectation of what is going to happen just like us. On the other hand, it has more active interaction. The audience can get the content immediately and give their ideas at the same time by sending comments. Besides, the commentator can see the comments and interact with the audience. TV shows are easy to control because it completely planned and it can be edited. Second, TV show may have better storytelling because it has the rigorous and abundant story of the show.
