There are two parts in this video. The first part is about how to tell a story by transferring the shot. The other one is a practice of camera movement.

For part A, this scene is shooting after the research of some rules about filmmaking. Firstly, the wide shot can show the environment and set the atmosphere. Secondly, three-quarter shot clear the relationship between characters. If it is only one character in the scene, middle shot also can show the emotion of the character. The last one is reaction shot between characters. If characters share space of the frame, they also share the feeling to each other. For example, if there are two characters in completely two separate frames, they normally do not have the relationship. Besides, it also can show a lonely emotion or the action of breaking up. If the frame both show one character and the other one’s shoulder, it normally means they have some connection. Usually, Medium Two Shot means these two characters have the deep connection. For my scene, wide shot is using to show the park after raining with only the character. After that is a close-up shot to show the lonely and sad emotion. The last shot is a wide shot of the park with nobody. It compares with the first wide shot to continue the lonely emotion. Thus, the music I picked is also sorrowful.

Camera movement has lots of technology to learn. There are various camera movements, such as push, pull, shake, rise and drop. The camera can move with characters or out of step with characters. The movie is supposed to make the 2D change to 3D. Thus, deep scheduling should be used more in a shooting. There are three types of camera movement in part B. The movement is acceptable. However, the connection between shots is little.
