I have the impression that filmmaking is a complex process. Film shows story directly by piles of scenes and shots. Audience can feel the emotion immediately. Comparing with reading a book, there is little place for audience to image. Thus, director need to image at first and show his image scenes. It is a challenging mission to get the imagine to reality. Thus, It ask people to have professional skills and creative mind.

I hope I can get these skills as following after this lesson. First of all, I want to get the ability of analysing various types of firms and television programs critically. Secondly, the ability of planning the whole process of filmmaking is also significant. Next, I am interested in shot language. Sometimes a suitable angle can make a fantastic effect. I can recognise if a shot is good or not. Then I can figure out factors of a good shot. Thirdly, even editing is tedious work. I still supposed to develop these skills. I want to learn how to adjust the white balance, colour and exposure. All these skills I mentioned are essential for filmmaking process.

Besides, a suitable system of working is also required. There are a few things I need to learn and improve. To start with, I need a specific plan of things needed to be done after this studio. Such as making a initiative film about 10 minutes and uploading on Youtube. Next, I am supposed to develop skills of collaboration. Filmmaking is always a cooperative process. Thirdly, reflecting after every work and every period is also required.  Appropriate reflection can make me know what things I done well and what things I still need to improve.

In conclusion, I want to have all this skills I mentioned and become a professional filmmaker after this studio.
