This week’s workshop ask us to do a exercise about ‘Can I have your attention please?’. Before we do the exercise, we listened a few audio work. I feel those audio video are all works quite well, every moment it has the attractive and interesting point for me. I quite enjoy it.
Then we do some plan of what we want to do and where we want to record sounds. We went to central as a group. We record the sound of people, the sound of ringing clock and the sound of walking heels.
Then we back to class and do editing. It is significant for us to control the volume well when we do recording and editing. Besides, when we do editing, we need to know what we need to get attention for each second.
Note: The recordings/base materials for mixing should include:
-A narrator/narrators
-Scripted/unscripted dialogue/conversation (two separate characters with around three lines each)
-Atmosphere/s (of a distinctly identifiable location/place for the goodbye)
-Spot sounds
-Music (non-copyrighted for this exercise)
-Sound fx
