Edit 1
The first edit is simply the footage put together. I was trying to make it look like the paradox scene in Inception. The Penrose steps. But it turned out to be like someone trying to escape the endless stairwell, which still looks pretty cool.
I was pretty impressed by how it turned out to be like because on the day I had no idea what to film and all the decisions were made right there and then. It feels pretty good to not plan anything and just go for it but I prefer the traditional way of making films.
Edit 2
In this one, I used a some of the footage twice to make it look more complex. I should have filmed more footage of Jeevan running down the stairs so it doesn’t look that obvious that I used some of the footage repeatedly.
I like how graphic the compositions are in each frame, it makes the edits look futuristic so effortlessly.
The tilt shot of the stairwell would be even better if it’s shot with a slow zoom out, it would add to the suffocating atmosphere of the endless stairwell.
