Go through to the presentation on Week 9. I really appreciate the topics raised by each student. Because I think everyone’s ideas are very interesting. Some of the topics are still fresh in my memory. Students had chosen different films and different directors as their topic. The different questions raised interest me. I am very glad that Pual participated in our presentation as a guest this time. Esther and I were both former students of Pual. We learned Small Things together. I really like the time when the final and the team members make short films together. I still remember the scene of the elevator that Esther and her group made was very nice.

Anyway, after listening to Esther’s talk. I think her subject is also interesting. Difference and Commons filming technique of Double personality of two film Black swan (Darren Aronofsky) And A Beautiful Mind (Ron Howard). both films used different ways to show split personalities. The personality created by schizophrenia is actually the inner desire of the protagonist. But there are many different ways of using the camera to show it in front of the audience.

Frequent use of jumper montage techniques, that is, to quickly show a series of jumper images and action screens with sound effects, usually used to imitate repetitive actions, such as drug abuse. Jumper montages usually use wide-angle lenses to emphasize the intuitiveness of actions or images.

The montage editing technique is one of my favorite editing techniques. The same object, the same scene, the same color, and so on can be used by Leonardo. It is a transformation in time and space. You can shorten time across time or travel through space. In my movie-making. I also use montage a lot. This requires coordination between pre-shooting and post-editing. In the early shooting, I had worked as a wedding cameraman. So I’d like to share my experience. I get behind the bride and let her go forward. I clap behind her. The scene can be made up at home. Then push the camera into the bride’s veil. When we get to the church. Again, let the bride walk forward, but this time I will start with the bridal veil to connect the previous scene, then slowly pull back behind the bride. This makes a very good seamless transition cut. I also used it in a promotional video for Melbourne. For example, start shooting a streetcar and end with the camera moving up quickly. For the next scene, you want to film Flinders railway station, start recording with the camera down. Move quickly up to the image you want and hold it gently. In the late editing, the first scene is cut before moving up and the second scene is cut before moving slowly. Then the speed rate increases to more than 200%. This can do a montage transition.

The application of the montage technique is very common now, and I really like to add it to my films
