This is the first week that we started our course. unfortunately, I was in China. So, I missed out my first class. But I catch them up very soon. Because I learned some of technology before. Our homework is that use Premiere to edit a Lenny sequence. Firstly, when I saw the footage. It feels very boring. Some of them are very good, some of them are bad. The main problem is that framing and angles. The movement and emotions of actors is prefect. But most of footage are not set up to the eye level with actors. And, some of line are not straight. I will think about do I have all this problem? How to avoid it in my future work? But I quite like post production. After you edit all disorganized footage. You will be found you create a very interesting video. You will proud yourself
According to this, I would like to refine my skills and possess a greater knowledge of different techniques. For photography, I would like to better understand the technical specs of the camera. I am more familiar with the post-production of editing and wish to maximise my skills in using a camera in relation to the conditions, such as better using the appropriate settings for different lighting. Similarly for film, I would like to improve and expand my use of camera movements, shots, and angles, and potentially using technologies such as drones and stabilisers. In terms of content, I want to learn how to build an immersive experience for audiences and maximise the synergy of music, audio, footage, type, and editing. I still want to gain a broad understanding of different kinds of media. The reason is that I believe to be able to work in a competitive environment like the media industry, a media man needs both general and profound knowledge as well as practical skills for his/her speciality.
