We had chosen promotional video as our final work. we did lots of shots of Melbourne. We focus on lifestyle and soul of Melbourne. for our first sequence that we done is our trailer. I put some of the footage into a sequence with a cinematic music to see how the video looks like. After we show the rough cut to Mr. Rohan. He gives me some good ideas and good advises. We stack after we took part of footage. Mr. Rohan told us how to show the word “soul” of Melbourne. the rough cut is only showing the footage that we done. He told us to do the beautiful color grading and make the whole video faster.

For the second edit of sequence. It is our final one. My team and I done the storyboard and timeline at the very beginning. During the holiday time, I traveled a lot in Victoria. I had been to Great Ocean Road, Lake Taller, Phillip Island and Mornington Peninsula Etc. the bad thing is that the weather is not stable. Sometimes rain the whole week. We must shoot something else in raining day. We consider shooting some inner look which is inside the building and detail footage. I got some of good footage from there. But also used my footage from past a few years that I token before. I used quite a lot drone footage to make our promotional video looks fancier. As you can see, there are a couple in the church. They are my friends. I saw them pray in the church and ask them to film in the church. I went to deep into the sea with a company. I filmed them catching tuna on the big ship. That is the footage come from. Also, the ox, a company asked me to film wagyu ox. So, I went to a beautiful countryside to get all this footage. I done all of the footage during sunrise and sunset, the best hour of the day. The sunshine is softer and very clear bright side and shadow which is easy to do the color grading. I had chosen orange and teal look to do the final color grading. I want to make my promotional video more looks cinematic.
