Week 5 – Workshop
In week 5’s workshop. We’ve learned how to use the Sony MC50. It is the first time i use a professional video recorder. It’s really amazing to play as a role of interviewer and interviewee in the video. And it let me feel like a real journalist.
In the exercise, my team mates crate a lot of ideas during shooting. I’m not good at shooting videos, they impacted me a lot and i learned from them a lot. I think i will use a lot of them ideas to create my project brief 3.
The exercise topic is the University survival rules. While i ‘m think my answer of our interview, the first idea came out of my mind is as a international student, language is a really important thing. It is most of international students will face. Actually i talked a little bit in the our video exercise. And it really make me think a lot during we do the exercise. Even now, i’m hard to write blogs because lake of language skills and hard to present everything i want to present. But i will try my best, i will do better during the time pass.
Review on The Day After Tommorrow
The day after tomorrow. A paleoclimatologist (a scientist who studies the ways weather patterns changed in the past). The movie has a happy ending. The story tell us, if we don’t take care of the environment, the day after tomorrow, human beings will die. The nature will retaliate us. We should think much of a little piece of garbage and a little of water. Try our best to protect the environment we live. It equal we are taking care of ourselves.
Review on Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower iq and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. but, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success, he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire! Forrest Gump mould incarnation of virtue is honest keeping one's word , conscientiously , brave paying attention to emotioning among film. in the film, forrest gump is a very pure image, but jenny has become the degenerate symbol . And write the great discrepancy originally in this. to all that narrated, since beginning all behave with a kind of tender feeling and well-meaning attitude after all for the film, having even joined poesy composition, this makes the film seem soft and have no injury. The film advocates to traditional moral concept and embodiment. make film apt to accept by people, director superb lay out skill and film application of language make the film very attractive too success with commercial for film content of the film has given security, and the treatment on director's art makes the film more excellent, this is reason that the film succeeds. Week 4 Initiative Post – Music
Music, a wonder that human beings created ever before,I think,is a favourite of most individuals. There are many types of music in the world, for example, pop music, soft music, disco. Pop music are welcome by most people for its easy accessibility, and soft music maybe can create a good atmosphere that men and women can date on, and disco, which is very fast in rhythm, can be used as the dance music. Music is an important part in my life,I even can't live without music. Acturally,I like many kinds of music,I'd like to talk about my favorite music here.Well,I like Irish folk music best,New age is Irish style,and it's mixes some morden melody,it sounds very nice and pure,can bring you into the never land and dream land,just relax,and forget all the problems.I like Enya,she is a very famous New age singer,her song just like the voice of heaven,her song is as nice and beautiful as herself! I'm not keen on American pop songs,they are terrible for me!The melody is not soft and nice at all!So fast and strong beat,too exciting,and can't hear them clearly.I can't stand the strong beat,that nearly make me fainted! In a word,music has an very important place in my life.As for the importance of music to my life,I think you can guess,it just like meals and sleeping,I can't live without it.Does anyone want to take it away from me,I'm gonna fight him and never give up!
Week 4 – Workshop
In week 4’s workshop, we’ve looked other students’ project brief 2. Other peoples’ works provide me a lot of new ideas and senses to make and edit a video. Learning from other peoples’ projects, I found out my flaws and advantages in the video. For example, the theme of my video did not express clearly throughout the video and extent of creativity did not exhibit enough.
I’m not a person with high ability to be creative. To begin with, I should make clear of the concept of innovative capability. It means I should figure out things in a new, original or advanced way. In respect to the advantages, the fluency and consistency of my video is standing at reasonable high level.
In this week, we also use the H2N Zoom and to practice a interview. It is a good start with our project brief 3. When I first get the h2n zoom, I found its hard to manipulate because this is my first time to use it. After trying several times, I get how to use it. I arranged a time with the interviewee to have a sit at seven seeds. We talked about the leisure time the interviewee will usual do and his preferred place to grab a drink. It’s a nice opportunity for me to learn interviewee’s life and understand new things.
