To film a good music video，we should figure out what is media study first. Media studies have focused on four general stable areas, namely, institution, production, audience and text. The institution is defined as entity work on the media business. Production is ways to make the media. The audience is about what people do with the stuff and texts is just about the stuff itself.

Two new peaks of exciting and vital activity have been developed despite old themes of media had gradually became not attractive as usual. One is basically about inspiring and optimistic, as well as people acquired from everyday making and creativity. The other is basically troubling and pessimistic and is about data exploitation, surveillance and extreme new forms of computerized capitalism.

Media development has mirrored the research in the field of design. They are all about how to think thoroughly, generate new ideas by using current resources and utilize these innovations back into practice.

Furthermore, we should think about how we can use today’s technology to support and make a swap of creative practices without negative consequences.

Last but not the least, we should also keep in mind the idea of creativity. It is not only about rethink the old issues but also approaches and methods utilized to make innovations.

“Making media studies” can be regarded as a subject, a method to deal with things and even a thinking method to view the established media studies.
