Week 1 Workshop Reflection – What blog is ?
In week 1’s workshop, we’ve talked about what blog is? Blog is not like dairy, it should show to the public. And it is also very useful in our daily life. Although a lot of us may not use it before.
As a kind of most avant-garde stuff in modern information society, blog is appealing to an increasing number of people. To my mind, however, the matter should be observed dialectically due to its particularity and complexity. Blog undeniably wields numerous merits. It in the first place serves as an effective means of communication, through which blog users are able to vent their spleens and share their various feelings with each other.Secondly, blog proves to be a terrific platform.for learning.By updating one’s blog pages and browsing others’,one thus has instant access to a wide range of cyber materials and may keep him-/herself informed of the most current events and knowledge. While taking blog browsing and bruiting for granted,we should not overlook its downsides—a problem inevitably confronting nearly every issue of controversy.Inasmuch as blog is a public medium that denies nearly no admission, one’s privacy is hereby easily subject to potential infringements.A more severe problem than this is that the current blog pages on the web are rife with worthless or even detrimental things, say, fraudulent advertising, hype, personal attack, pornography and violence,or even reactionary propagation.
Weighing the above discussed,i believe that, despite the many shortcomings it possesses, blog basically turns out to be a favourable thing, and would be more so provided supervision from both the public and the government is imposed upon it and self-discipline within the blog users is strengthened.
Week 1 Lectorial Reflection – Hyper and Deep Attention
From the first lectorial, we’ve read about the “Hyper and Deep Attention”. It is the first time i heard about these words and knew what these words mean. From this reading, i think we should know how to pay hyper and deep attention in different situations. It is a very important thing we should learn during our study in University. For example, when we are doing the media course, we should pay hyper attention. We should learn how to connect the social media materials by hyper attention. And we should listen, read and watch a lot of media materials during we do some assessments. For another example, when i’m writing this blog, i’m listening some music to relax. It’s also important for you to relax while you doing something which is not need to pay attention. But it may not work sometimes. But when you need to do an very important test or exam, you may pay very deep attention to do it as well as you can. It is also may not work sometimes, because when you pay deep attention you may feel very nervous in some situations. So it is important for us to balance these things in daily time.
Review on Kung Fu Panda
I’m a person who do not always watch movie, but when you doing the media study, movie is one of the important elements. Thus, when the media 1 blog come out, I think i may have a movie which i like and write a review on it every week. So here we go.
Recently, I saw a movie named Kung Fu Panda 3. More do not want to repeat the story, because it really well. Seeing this movie, people laughed frequently. The whole atmosphere was relaxed. This film had done very authentic, no matter which story or convey the moods, whether the screen or the details are all the way east.
What most impressed me was what the Master Oogway said. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift. That is why it’s called the present. It tells us that we don’t always think about the past and dream of the future without doing anything. we are living for today and just for the day. We pack up old times and walk out without the burden of our history on our shoulder. We have to make the best of today if we would like to succeed tomorrow. There is no doubt that what we need to do is to grasp today. What’s more, what we can grasp is only today.
