We went on a Friday noon, there were only two to three tables of people at that restaurant. Waiters stood separately, doing their own things. We looked through the menu and quickly made the decision, then my friend raised her hand to order. However, no one answered us. We looked around again, one waiter was serving the other table and another one was standing near the bar to fill the bowl with rice. During our waiting, the latter turned around to talk to his colleague. His sight directly went over us, pretending he didn’t see that hand.

“Maybe he didn’t notice.” I said to my friend. She rested for a second and raised the arm higher again. The waiter finally finished his work and walked to us. “Can we have some water please,” asked by my friend. “Yes, sure,” he answered.

Our dishes came to the table one by one, but the water didn’t. We had to ask him once again when he sending the dish.

“How can he just ignore us?” I said to my friend.

“I’ve done it too when I worked in the restaurant before,” she answered.
