Written Reflection:

The theme of my media portrait is a day of my friend Kyle. I want to use some small fragments of his life to display his hobbies and some habits. I added some subtitles into the video, in first person’s tone, try to imitate Kyle’s interaction with his pets and friends. Also some explanation of what are those pictures about in the video. With the background music, I chose some light music without lyrics to create a relaxed and happy environment into this video.

The most favorite part for me in this video is that I learned how to use the camera to create a better angle for every single shot, not just record everything, instead of thinking which way would be a better angle for the audience that can make them understand more about the video and enjoy more of it.

The part that I realized I need more learning of it is the editing. When I was brainstorming this portrait, I had many good ideas but when I start to do it, I couldn’t achieve it,  I think I could found out and learn more editing skills and  make the video more interesting and unique of the way I wanted.
