Provide some context on the video by summarising the content, the context of publication, and the audience it targets.
This video is created by the Aputure lighting group. Aputure is a cinema lighting company provide strong led lights to filmmakers around the world. Nova p300c is the newest product they made. this video is showing features of Nova light. it has talked about the advantage of the light and what I can be used for. this video is a target on the people who involve in filmmakers around the world.
How was the video made technically?
The video looks like footage and special effects. however, I asked my friend who works in Aputure they said that they were using laser lighting rather than a special effect. They also use a high-end camera, slider, and lots of their own product. Most of the video is filmed in slow motion and add speeding effects in post-production. They also made their own music and add lots of sound effects in this video.
What similarities and differences can you make with other forms of time-based media?
This Video has added some hidden information in the video. There are three lightings on the screen and its color is red green and blue. It just presents the changeable RGB feature with the footage instead of telling it out at the very first. By using this type of potential information, the information of RGB has already got into the audience’s subconscious. when the audience keeps on watching this video, they may have felt about how is this product, when they start thinking about the advantage of the product, they may think about buying the product. this is what differences this video compares with others. this video is full of potential information telling the audience to purchase their product.
What is innovative about this video?
when I am watching the video, I was thinking that they use the special effect to create those lighting effects we see in the video. However I ask a friend who had done something similar before, he told me that it is not a special effect but real laser lighting. beyond this point, that is what different between them and other videos. they spend time making it happened.
