How does hypertext relate to storytelling in different media formats?

” The text/ hypertext/ web is no longer just linking information, is linking people, people sharing, trading and collaborating”. Hypertext make the information more comprehensive and spread faster, people can search something they are interested from from one field to another field, create a more a more convenient environment. (Web 2.0 Michael Wesch. The Machine Is Us/ing Us. 2007. Film.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmP4nk0EOE&feature=youtube_gdata_player).

Is the work we publish online only validated once it is viewed/consumed by others?

No, the information we publish online can be viewed and consumed by other people, and they also have the opportunity to supplement the information, and this action can always be maintained as well.

Do you think the digitalisation of literary texts and the use of the E-reader will eventually replace the physical book completely?

I do not disagree that there is a strong possibility that the E-reader ill eventually replace the pgysical. Firstly, the E-readers more convenient, and  also can easily be saved resources. In addition, people can change theinformation all the time, just need some  particularly simple steps and more flexibility. Secondly, from the environmental protection perspective, E-reading is feasible. People do not need to use many trees to make books, that’s good for environment. But in my opinion, I hope the E-reading and the physical book can be reained both, because they have their own characteristics, they are both the outstanding achievements of the historical development.
