It is the documentary about the red life district in India. The director went to the red light district and took down the real life in the red light district. She has found that the victims were not just the prostitute women but also their children. This documentary was filmed by the shoulder mounted camera and it allowed the first person view of this moment. The director Zana was very smart and she silenced the background noise and he used the natural light to portray the life in the Brothel. Moreover her movies was barely edited and she did not soften the movie in the real life. It shows everything including the vulgar conversation, street fights and the drugs. This movie was as realistic as possible and this could really show the life in the red light district. It is noticed that there was little music used in this film, because usually in the India base movie or documentary, a lot of music would be used and it is the convention for the India movie. While this one did not have the feature and the only music used in this documentary was the traditional India music and it incorporated a mood to the transition between scenes. For example when the film as highlighted to the prostitute in the street, a somber music was played to emphasize their sadness. When the kid was dancing in the bus, a upbeat music was played. While the majority part of this documentary was silent and there was not music and this gave us the accurate picture of the city in brothel.
